Aaron Bruce Pittman ("Tom")
Aaron was born in Akron, Ohio on October 10, 1953, to Mary Pittman and Frank Pittman Jr. He attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from North High School.
After graduation, Aaron joined the Marine Corps and served some time in Southeast Asia. Following his time in the service, he moved to California, where he earned an Associate Degree before relocation to Tacoma, Washington.
Aaron was a man of many talents who could master nearly anything he set his mind to accomplish. Over the years, his work included roles as a vocational college counselor and small store manager, and he became a business owner after founding Aaron's Janitorial Service in Tacoma. He embraced a wide variety of jobs throughout his life-some to support his unique explorations around the country, others simply for the experience of them. Aaron lived life on his own terms and often said he did things his own way and had no regrets. He held to that truth even through his battle with a serious illness near the end of his life.
Aaron was a hardworking man throughout his life and his loyalty to family was always present. He was loved and will be greatly missed. Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Martin Pittman; his father, Frank Pittman Jr.; and his youngest brother, Derrick Pittman.
He is survived by his brother, Frank Pittman III; his sister, Debra Pittman French (Gerone); his uncle, Rudolph Barnett (Barbara); and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service for Aaron will be announced at a later date.
