  Ray was the person that lit up the room when he walked into it. He loved whole heartedly and honestly never missing the opportunity to point out a phrase like "your as welcome as the spring flowers" or quick to show a new cord progression . Ray loved learning new things and excelled at the things he tried . He loved life and his family and friends and was quick to laugh. He and his Mom were close and he was proud his Father had been a fighter in the boxing ring. He adored his daughter and was happy to spend time with her. Ray was a small town boy who became a world traveler in his late teens and early 20s having the opportunity to take his show on the road and go to Japan. He became worldly through his first language music. Never forgetting his roots and his people. Rest in Peace Buddy. I'll see you on the other side.
