John Walter Myers

July 11th 1953- October 17th 2024

John was born to Charles and Mary Myers, just outside of Bedford Iowa. He was the youngest of 12 children. When John was just a few months old the family moved to Seattle Washington. He grew up and went to school in the Beverly Park area.

When he was about 17, John went to California to live with his eldest brother Charles Jr and wife Judy. Charles took John under his wing to teach him how to paint and put wallpaper up in houses. After Charles lost his life in a motorcycle accident, John stayed so he could fulfill the rest of Charles outstanding commitments to his brothers customers so his family would still receive the payment. After the jobs were done he moved back to Washington. He worked at Boeing for awhile, then went onto being a courier and a forklift driver.

John was married 3 times but never had children. Karen 1980-1992, Sandy 1995-1995, Wanda 1996-2016.

After the break up of his last marriage John hit the road and lived life on his own terms. He saw many things and made many friends on his travels.

John loved music and he loved playing the guitar. He was fascinated about space and about all the unknowns it held. His favorite show was "Ancient Aliens". John had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes, he shared them with everyone he met. Above all else he loved his family and we all loved him just the same. He was a good man with a gentle and loving soul. He will be greatly missed by his big Sister and all the rest of his family and friends. Rest in Beautiful Peace John. You will never be forgotten.

Survived by: His Sister Maxine Lackie. Sister in-laws Judy and Naomi Myers. Former wife Wanda Myers. and numerous Nephews and Nieces.
