Obituary For Jordan Tyler Stammen

Jordan Tyler Stammen was born in Puyallup, WA on May 30, 1991 to Shawn Stammen and Natalie Bolling-Stammen. Jordan died tragically at the age of 32 in a single car accident caused by a medical emergency on August 5, 2023 in Renton, WA. Jordan resided in Puyallup for most of his childhood. He played sports at the Rec Center for over ten years. He thrived in school getting special recognition from the Puyallup City Hall in 5th grade as an academic leader where he was asked to give a speech during a city council meeting. In Junior High, while doing schooling from home, Jordan was able to assist his mom in providing 24/7 in-home care to his great grandparents until their passing. He learned the importance of showing compassion, kindness, patience and love towards family and the elderly. Jordan’s family later moved to Enumclaw where he graduated from Green River Community College while working at Safeway. At age 18, Jordan moved into his own place and got into car sales where he worked in Enumclaw, Auburn, and Renton. Jordan eventually moved to Renton, WA where he worked for Good Chevrolet. Jordan never married but had his two children, Lily and Henry Stammen, who were his greatest achievements he would say. Later in life, Jordan met the love of his life, Jessie, who was his best friend until the end. When not working, Jordan would spend quality time with his children, visit family, go out for the night with friends, enjoy nature or relax with a quiet evening at home. While he worked hard, he played harder, living his life to the fullest. He would often go to Gene Coulan Memorial Park after work to decompress from the stress of the day. This became one of his favorite places to spend time and why his family chose it as the venue for his celebration of life. Jordan loved God, family and friends. He enjoyed making people smile and believed in the power of having a positive attitude to accomplish his goals to become the best version of himself. He loved BBQ’s, all sports, nature, hiking, fishing, camping, water sports, cooking, trying unique foods, sunsets, photography, art, architecture, music, dancing, singing, movies, gaming, writing, reading, comedy, collecting clothes/shoes, poetry and traveling where he could experience adventures that would push him out of his comfort zone. Jordan was known for his loving heart, loyalty, intelligence, sense of humor, kindness, compassion, empathy, generosity, hard work ethic, competitive spirit, beautiful smile that lit up the room when he walked in, his big bear hugs, and his contagious laugh. Jordan touched many lives in his short time on earth and was taken far too soon. Jordan is survived by his grandmother, Marilyn Bolling; mother, Natalie Bolling-Stammen; sister, Johanna Stammen; children, Lily & Henry Stammen; niece, Amelia Wright-Stammen; nephew, Waylen Stammen and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jordan was proceeded in death by his great grandparents, Alford & Dorothy Shipp; grandparents, Duane & Marleen Stammen; grandfather, Pete Bolling; father, Shawn Stammen; sister, Brittany Bolling; cousins, Michael Stammen and Levi Stammen.
