Lloyd Amos Eurom, 83, passed away on March 24, 2026. Born in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Lloyd M. and Eathel Eurom.
Lloyd honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963. He was immensely proud of his service and carried the Marine values of loyalty and duty with him. During his years in Marshalltown, he was a fixture in the local stock car racing scene, where he earned the unforgettable nickname “Crazy George.”
In 1974, Lloyd moved his family to Sumner, Washington. He began a long career with Kaiser Aluminum, where he worked until his retirement in 2001. Lloyd loved hunting and fishing, especially when sharing those traditions with his son and grandsons. In his retirement, he enjoyed life living near his daughter in Copalis Beach and later he enjoyed life living near his son in Graham, but his greatest joy was his role as a grandfather. He took immense pride in watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Eurom, and brother-in-law Jack Weese.
Lloyd is survived by his sister, Judy Weese; his first wife, Rosanna Miller; his son and daughter-in-law, Rory S. (Lisa) Eurom, and his daughter, Lori Coman. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Krystal (David) Holland, Blake Coman, Cory (Ivana) Eurom, Jacob (Haley) Eurom, Michaela (Matt) Houser; as well as 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be scheduled by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lloyd Amos Eurom’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project (P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516) or online at www.woundedwarriorproject.org
