Patricia Marie (Lewis) Lindeman
February 12, 1949 - December 18, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Marie (Lewis) Lindeman, a cherished wife, mother, and sister.

Pat was born in Utica, NY, and spent her early years there before moving to Centralia, WA, in 1974. Above all, Pat's greatest joy was her family, and she found happiness in the love and laughter they shared. Whether gathered at home or exploring sunny destinations, her warmth and kindness created lasting memories. An avid reader, Pat delighted in immersing herself in books.

Her passion for education also shaped her life. Pat's academic journey began at Utica Free Academy and continued with honors at Centralia College. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education summa cum laude from Washington State University and completed a Master of Education at the University of Portland.

Pat dedicated her career to enriching the lives of others, most notably as a special education teacher at W.F. West High School in Chehalis, where she had a profound influence on her students. Earlier in her career, she inspired young minds at Centralia Junior High. Her relationships with students and colleagues reflected her genuine care and commitment.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, George Lindeman; her daughters, Beth Anne Jones and Melissa McNally; her grandchildren, Danielle Hoyt, Dakin Pollard, Kaitlyn McNally, and Heidi Jones Gendreau; her great-grandchildren, Avery, Davin, Charlotte, and Sophiya; her sisters, Elizabeth Schweitzer and Nancy Cook; and her brother, Bobby Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Archie Lewis, and her sister, Maureen Pendergast.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will take place in June 2025, with details to be announced later.

Patricia will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her inspiring work as an educator, her love of books and travel, her sweet and silly sense of humor, and her gentle spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
