  I've have known Russ (Ragafrass) for approximately 47 years. We were many things over the years. Co-worker Heath Tecna/Hexcel (several times). I went to go see him get married (which he has stated that he has had hangovers that lasted longer than that.) We ended up being roommates and coworkers in California. During that time, we had a job together in Tianjin China (yes, some vodka was consumed there) While working with him at Heath Tecna in the 80's we would hit Long Acres to place bets for the 9th and 10th races and go back to work to listen to the call on the radio. I used to be able to tell how many drinks he has had from how he rolled his R's. I also would take out some of his cigarettes, write on them and put them back in the pack trying to predict when he was going to smoke it and what race it was. (I was fairly accurate with that as well.) I text him every couple weeks just to see how things are going and he would mostly likely reply "I never really liked you that much but I lie". I know what he would tell me right now with this long ass write up. "STFU Ken!!" Rest in peace bud. I will miss your grumpy ass.......
